Community Guidelines
Last updated: February 19, 2026
Viddla exists to give creators and viewers a space to share, discover, and enjoy video content. To keep this space welcoming for everyone, we ask that you follow these guidelines whenever you use the platform - whether you're uploading videos, leaving comments, or interacting with other members of the community.
Breaking these guidelines can lead to content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
Keep It Legal
Don't use Viddla for anything unlawful. Content that promotes, depicts, or provides instructions for illegal activity - including drug trafficking, weapons manufacturing, theft, or fraud - is not permitted. This applies under the laws of Lithuania, the European Union, and the laws of your own country.
Protect Children
This is non-negotiable. Any content that sexually exploits, endangers, or targets minors in any way will be removed immediately, the account will be terminated, and the matter will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
No Sexual or Explicit Content
Viddla is not a platform for pornography or sexually explicit material. Content featuring nudity, sexual acts, or material designed to be sexually arousing is not allowed.
Be Respectful
Disagreement is fine. Attacking people is not. Don't harass, threaten, stalk, or bully anyone on the platform. Don't share someone's private information (doxxing). Don't single out individuals or groups with content designed to degrade them based on who they are - their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other personal characteristic.
Be Honest
Present yourself and your content truthfully.
- Don't impersonate other people, creators, or organizations
- Don't use misleading titles, thumbnails, or descriptions to bait clicks
- Don't create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity
- Don't promote scams or fraudulent schemes
Respect Other People's Work
Only upload content you created or have permission to use. If someone files a copyright claim against your content, engage with the process in good faith. Repeated infringement will result in account termination. Details on how copyright claims work can be found in our Terms of Service.
Don't Game the System
Let the platform work as intended. This means:
- No bots or automated tools to inflate views, likes, or follower counts
- No ban evasion through new accounts
- No exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities (report them to [email protected] instead)
- No abusing the report system to target creators you don't like
Respect People's Privacy
Don't publish private or personal information about others without their consent. This includes real names, addresses, phone numbers, financial information, or private conversations and recordings.
Content That Depicts Harm or Violence
Gratuitous violence, gore, and content that glorifies real-world harm is not allowed. There is room for educational, journalistic, or documentary content that responsibly covers difficult topics - but context matters, and we evaluate these on a case-by-case basis.
What Happens When You Break the Rules
We handle violations based on severity and intent:
- Minor or first-time violations - the content is removed and you receive a warning
- Repeated or deliberate violations - temporary account suspension
- Severe violations - immediate permanent termination, no warnings
For the most serious cases - child exploitation, credible threats of violence, terrorism, or other criminal activity - we will involve law enforcement.
See Something? Report It
If you come across content or behavior that doesn't belong on Viddla, use the report button on any video, comment, or channel page. You can also reach us through our contact form or at [email protected].
We review every report. We won't always be able to share the outcome, but every report helps.
Thank you for being part of Viddla and helping us build a platform worth using.
